Hi! I’m Crystal :)

I am a London based illustrator and 2D artist who graduated from the University of Greenwich studying BA Graphic and Digital Design.

What inspires me to create art is through observing the smaller details of the world around me. I have a great interest in exploring new ways to represent my love for fond memories and treasuring the ‘everyday’, as well as identity in womanhood. Illustration is my way of translating the beauty I see in these moments, in a way which is also beneficial to others.

I am very inspired by vibrant colours as I grew up watching Technicolour produced and Studio Ghibli films, and I love to learn other ways of expressing creativity through ceramics, looming, crocheting, and secondhand fashion. I love to expand my knowledge of the world by travelling, and through my love for travel I teach myself Japanese!
